Look up and list 3 important facts about the body system you are researching at school in your small group.
We will use this information at school, so make sure you do a good job!
Your answer should look similar to this:
1. There are more than 600 individual skeletal muscles in the human body.
2. The average human head has about 100,000 hairs.
3. Hundreds of billions of neurons carry electrical signals that control the body from the brain and the spinal cord.
This week's assignment is a little different. The answers you give me will be used as an assessment grade. Therefore, you will not see your answer posted on the site until Sunday, when I will post all of the answers at the same time. (I don't want you guys to read each others' answers before you write your own.)
You can use whatever resources (books, internet...) you have to answer the questions well, but make sure you are doing your own work, and not getting too much input from parents. :)
We will talk about this tomorrow in class to help clarify the assignment!
Here are your questions:
1. Identify 3 events that led up to the Revolutionary War. (You can list these.)
2. How do interactions between cultures result
in change and conflict? (Write a paragraph.)
Do your best and check for grammar and punctuation!
Write 3 thesis statements on the following topic:
Your Favorite Holiday.
Start your thesis statements with one of the following words: Although or If
Here is an example:
Although I love receiving gifts at Christmas, my favorite part of the holiday is giving to others.
Tell me the title and author of a book you are currently reading. ALSO, state whether you would recommend this book to someone else, and WHY!
